Great at Vision Participated in a National Workshop on Sanitation Service Pricing!

From July 2 to 5, 2025, our company Great at Vision, active in the sanitation sector, had the honor of participating in a stakeholder training workshop on the pricing framework and tariff model for sanitation services. The workshop was organized by AREEN (Regulatory Authority for the Water and Energy Sectors), in collaboration with the Ministry of Water, Energy, and Mines, and was held at the Palmeraie Hotel in Gitega.

🔍 Workshop Objective: Strengthen the capacity of key stakeholders in structuring, adapting, and implementing a fair, equitable, and sustainable tariff model for sanitation services in Burundi.

During these four days rich in exchange and learning, we:
✅ Received in-depth presentations on the pricing framework, equity and accessibility principles,
✅ Studied the national tariff policy for drinking water and liquid sanitation,
✅ Carried out practical tariff simulation exercises for urban and communal services,
✅ Participated in group work sessions to adapt the model to local realities and identify concrete actions,
✅ Contributed to the development of a participatory roadmap for the implementation of a pilot phase.
